Welda Stock
Butcher Shop Software
From sales by weight to the end-of-day count, your shop on one screen
In a butcher shop most sales are by weight and products move fast: beef, lamb, mince, offal… Tracking what is left by eye inflates waste and stock-count discrepancies, and noting every weighing by hand at a busy counter is impossible.
Welda Stock tracks the movement of meat and offal in real time. A sale made with a scale barcode or product barcode deducts stock automatically, and you get alerts for items dropping to critical levels. At the end of the day you close the till with a report and track supplier debts and customer store-credit on a single screen.

Challenges
The challenges of running a butcher shop
Selling by weight and waste
Most sales are by weight; manual figures invite errors and make waste tracking hard, so discrepancies grow.
Fast-moving meat and offal
With fresh products a shortage is noticed late; when the counter is empty, a sale is lost.
Store-credit kept in a notebook
A regular customer's credit is written in a book; pages get mixed up and balances are disputed.
Suppliers and the daily count
Slaughterhouse and wholesaler invoices stay scattered; the till is counted by hand at night and the gap against sales stays hidden.
The Solution
What Welda Stock solves in your shop
Fast sales by weight with scale barcodes
Scan a scale barcode or product barcode; weight and amount come up automatically and the sale deducts stock instantly.
Meat and offal stock with critical-level alerts
Stock movements are recorded automatically; items running low are listed before you ask, so you order on time.
Store-credit, suppliers and profitability
Customer credit is tracked with its balance, supplier invoices with their debt; you see the per-product buy-sell margin and the end-of-day report on one screen.
A day at your butcher shop with Welda
Scale barcodes for weighed sales
A customer wants 1.2 kilos of mince and half a kilo of diced beef. You weigh the meat and scan the label printed by the scale; Welda Stock reads the weight and price from the barcode. The sale is recorded in seconds, the receipt is printed, and the weight is deducted from that product's stock.
Wholesaler invoice and balance
Beef and lamb carcasses arrive from the wholesaler. When you enter the invoice on the supplier's account, the products go into stock and your debt to the wholesaler is recorded. As you log weekly payments, the remaining balance updates, so you never search a notebook for which invoice is paid.
Low-stock list at opening time
When you open the shop, you see all products below their critical level in one list: if mince, chops or offal are running low, you order first thing. In the evening you log bone, fat and trimming loss as waste and check in the end-of-day report that stock and till agree.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can I sell using a scale (weighing) barcode?
Yes. When you scan the weight barcode from the scale, the product, weight and amount come up automatically; you record a sale by weight in seconds.
How does stock deduct on sales by weight?
Each sale automatically deducts the sold weight from stock; you track the quantity remaining at the counter and items running low in real time.
Can I move my store-credit notebook into the program?
Yes. Importing your existing store-credit and customer records is included in setup; you start per-customer balance tracking right away.
How much does the butcher software cost?
Pricing is tailored to the size and needs of your business. There is a one-time setup fee; send your request and we will reply with a quote within 24 hours.
What hardware does a butcher shop need? Do I have to replace my scale?
A retail scale that prints barcode labels, a standard barcode scanner and a computer with a browser are enough. Welda Stock decodes the weight/price barcode printed by the scale automatically; we check compatibility with you before setup.
How do I record trimming loss and bone waste?
Waste and shrinkage tracking lets you record bone, fat and other losses from cutting per product. Together with stock counts, your inventory is updated to the real quantity and you can see how large the loss is in your reports.
